Last November 04 to 06, 2024, Liberty Año, Cuervo Appraiser’s Vice-President and General Manager attended the 26th Congress of the ASEAN Valuers Association which was held at the Concored Hotel, in Singapore with the theme “Embracing Globalizations in the Region Valuation Education, Sustainability and Standards”. In addition, Ms. Liberty Año also represented IPREA and presented the Philippine Country report.
The ASEAN Valuers Association was constituted in June 1981 and currently has eight member countries comprising of Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, and Cambodia as members. A congress and general assembly are held every year and are rotated amongst the country members.
The objectives of AVA are to promote cooperation, create mutual understanding, establishing closer relationship, sharing of information, knowledge and experience in the relevant fields of valuation among valuers and allied professionals of ASEAN country members
